"He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. But He needed to go through Samaria. So He came to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
~ John 4:3-10 ~
A special, intense and confidential 14-week study for women who need mental and emotional healing from past hurts. It is an in-depth study of the Samaritan woman in John 4:1-42, while looking at the biblical principles in Philippians 4:4-9. In Philippians the teaching is not only verse by verse, but word by word at a time, particularly in verse 8. WAW goes beyond the surface symptoms caused by trauma from the past or present. If you commit your all to God, He will soothe (as the balm of Gilead) your deepest pains through His Son, transforming your life; discovering it's all-about-Jesus.
Every woman can benefit from this study. Are you paralyzed with fears? Are you stuck in your relationship with Christ? Are you ready to take your relationship to the next level? This study will help your growth towards a more personal and intimate relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are dedicated to helping women stand victoriously in the strength of our triumphant Christ by laying at the foot of His throne these types of painful experiences: Abortion, adultery, betrayal, divorce, grief, incest, rape, sexual abuse, rejection, physical abuse, loss, emotional abuse, witchcraft/the Occult and/or serious/chronic illness.
Any of the above may result in any of the following: Alcohol/drug abuse, unforgiveness, anger/rage, guilt, depression, bitterness, anxiety attacks, shame, emotional Illness, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts or attempt(s) and a myriad of other symptoms.
Purpose
The primary purpose of WAW Bible study is to glorify God through Jesus Christ His Son. By offering an inductive and systematic study of the Samaritan woman in John 4:1-42, and an in-depth look at the biblical principles in Philippians 4:6-9, if applied, you can achieve the victory that has already been given to us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Statements like "Give it to God" and "Take every thought captive" (2 Corinthians 10:5) can be understood by teaching women how to literally and practically refocus on the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; leading you into a deeper and more personal relationship with Jesus.
If you have experienced anything from abortion to witchcraft, victory will be achieved if these principles are effectively applied.
This study should be in an environment where you can feel safe, accepted and loved, and where confidentiality is demonstrated. It is meant to be in an environment where you can focus on your relationship with Jesus Christ without interruption. It should be in an environment that will provide a warm, caring atmosphere where you can experience the love of the True Living God.
